First upload

So I have spent a bunch of hours now testing to re-implement my game Sumur to Dragon Ruby (the first version of it was written in Cocos 2dx and the one I have uploaded here was written in Godot). I am a bit drawn to dragon ruby, or rather ruby itself, so I thought a better way to learn was to do something bigger than my little hack Svipugong that I made for the Dragon Ruby gamejam a few weeks back. Also, I will be able to compare the experience of implementing in the different engines.

Straight off, i have to say that the publish function in dragon ruby is absolutely wonderful. I tend to build bottom up, and here it's so easy to publish the results.

This version of the game is not really a game yet. It kind of works, but is buggy. Also there is an annoying flicker when I generate the different colored sprites that I have to figure out. And a lot more...  But its an enjoyable experience none the less making it. Not at all as refined as in Godot where I can put a nice breakpoint wherever in the code and inspect all variables in a frozen world (I can probably do that in dragon ruby somehow also, I just don't know how)., but being able to write the code in any editor and see the changes live is quite productive as well.
